Private Universe

I have been singing this song lately because i think this was the most beautiful song i ever heard lately.

This song was written by the band crowded house and aparently, this song came out after the band regrouped. Once, sometimes ago, one of the band hanged himself somewhere in the middle of a park in Australia and the thing that was not expected to come from someone who never had any history of drugs, alcohol, life style, broken families. This story i heard from my friend Stevie, whom i mentioned to you earlier in my "Bali" posting. He is now own his band called "Hey Stevie" but himself has played drum for the famous old school American musicians called the BeachBoys.  So on this Sunday afternoon, i heard him singing this song and it was really nice and i fell asleep like in lullaby. Later on, i asked him whats the song he sang and he said " Private Universe". He told me the story. Crowded house has been making many songs and some has never been recorded and published. After the incident of suicidal mate, they decided to make new album for their memorial regrouping. Neil Finn the main lead singer, sings this beautifully and if you have time to download them from internet, please do and you will know what I mean.

"no time no place to talk about the weather

the promise of love is hard to ignore

who said the chance wasnt getting any better…,the labor of love is ours to endure

the highest brand on the apple tree, it was my favourite place to be

i could hear them breaking free, but they could not see me

I will run for shelter, endless summer lift the curse

it feels like nothing matters….in our private universe.."

Posted for friendship and the sake of singing out your heart :)
