Java Road Trip
This road trip story happened in december 2006 actually, but i have been postponing writing it due to work load, traveling, off days and lack of inspiration. Last December, on my way back to Padang home, i stopped over in Jakarta to see my sister. She have planned for us to go to "Guci" a spring situated in Tegal area, East Java. I have not been to Jakarta for quite a while now and i am not surprised with all new blocks built into supermalls, hotels, amusement places. More cars on the road which was not really impressive but more like annoying. That day Friday i arrived in Jakarta, it was heavy rain an of course that cause jammed traffic and i ended upstucked in traffic for 2 hours and met my sister, for dinner around 10 PM! We had dinner at this nice javanese noodle soup cafe which exactly what i needed ! So good at last. I sleep so well that night. Look forward for the next day to come. Road trip to East and Central Java ! All I san say it was very tiring but it was all worth it.. My most impressive trip was going to the Dieng Plateu.beautifully situated at 2600 km above sea level, so rich vegetation and they aparently number one indonesian producer for potato.I love to go back there but this time, maybe fly to the nearest airport and take a shorter road trip, cause its worth it !
